Dr. Ortiz joined Orange County Physicians’ Hearing Services in 2025 as a fourth-year clinical extern through the San Diego State University/University of California, San Diego Joint Doctoral Program in Audiology. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Biola University in La Mirada, California, and graduated with her Doctor of Audiology degree in May 2026.

During her doctoral training, Dr. Ortiz was an active member of the Student Academy of Audiology and has volunteered at community events such as the Hearing Loss Association of America Walk4Hearing. She also enjoyed attending professional conferences, including ARO, AAS, and CAA.

Her clinical interests include adult diagnostics, auditory brainstem response (ABR) testing, vestibular evaluations (VNGs), and hearing aid troubleshooting. Before beginning her graduate studies, Dr. Ortiz gained valuable experience working as a newborn hearing screener at Kaiser Permanente.

Dr. Ortiz provides patient care at the Mission Viejo office.
