Meet Nour Batakji
Ms. Batakji joined Orange County Physicians’ Hearing Services mid-2025 as a fourth-year Audiology Extern. She is currently completing her Doctor of Audiology degree through the joint program at San Diego State University and UC San Diego, with anticipated graduation in May 2026. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from California State University, Sacramento.
Throughout her doctoral training, Ms. Batakji was an active member of the Student Academy of Audiology (2022–2025), where she managed the organization’s social media
outreach. She also volunteered in the San Diego community, providing hearing screenings for elementary school children through the Boys and Girls Club. Her early professional experience includes working as a newborn hearing screener at Kaiser and Sutter hospitals in Sacramento, where she performed screenings for infants in both the NICU and nursery.
Her clinical interests include pediatric and adult diagnostic audiology, newborn auditory brainstem response (ABR) testing, hearing aid fittings, and patient counseling.
Ms. Batakji currently provides patient care at the Mission Viejo and Laguna Hills offices.
