Meet Dr. Liu, Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Liu joined Orange County Physicians’ Hearing Services in 2024. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a minor in Economics from the University of California, SanDiego, and went on to receive his Doctor of Audiology degree from San Diego State University in 2015.

Before entering the field of audiology, Dr. Liu worked in medicinal chemistry, synthesizing novel small molecule compounds for pharmaceutical research. Within audiology, his professional interests include adult diagnostic evaluations, tinnitus management, hearing conservation, and the fitting and adjustment of hearing aids. He is also dedicated to

patient education, ensuring individuals understand their hearing health and treatment options.

Outside of his clinical work, Dr. Liu enjoys basketball, playing guitar, and serving as a sound technician at his church.

Dr. Liu currently provides patient care at the Mission Viejo and Irvine offices.
